Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineer or Computer Science, or other related field and at least 5 years of industry experience.
5+ years of experience testing in a multi-product, multi-vendor telecom network infrastructure environment.
Detailed knowledge of Telecom protocols and message flows.
Strong analytical skills to reproduce field-reported issues; and to quickly and accurately isolate CDMA network infrastructure issues.
Expertise in three or more of the following areas: SIP, ISUP, SS7, HLR/AAA, CALEA, WPS, E911, eCSFB, Inter-Vendor Hard Handoff, MSC Translations, WIN, CRBT
UNIX expertise (scripting, systems administration, ability to perform OS-level troubleshooting of HW and SW issues) .
Strong verbal and written communications skills, position-appropriate mentoring/leadership abilities, ability to quickly master new systems and/or processes, capacity to stay organized while managing competing priorities, and a deep customer service orientation, both internally and externally.
